So the astute might have noticed that I haven’t been posting much lately. There are a couple of reasons for that.

The first is that I’ve been spending all day polishing my resume, sending out emails, networking, hooking up coworkers with potential leads, fleshing out game pitches, writing prospecti, and chasing down license owners. Which is to say, there’s a lot of potential in the air. All that potential is very tiring.

The second is, and let’s be blunt about this, now is not the time to be overly critical of, well, anything. I actually typically make an effort to be as professional as I can, especially in regards to my competitors. Still, you never know when one stray piece of snark ends up being quoted back in your face in a job interview. So for those who feel I’m being toothless right now – yeah, I am. Give me dental and I’ll unload with both barrels.

For those who are asking, no, I don’t know what I’m going to do yet. I’ve got several leads, I’m always willing to hear more, both for myself and for my awesome crewmates. I’m not quite to the point where I need to dress like a stormtrooper in order to land a gig. Still, it’s nice to know that works.
